Learning How To Aim A Putt
Here is a simple putting tip most golfers don't know about or haven't been taught. Learning where to aim your putter is often misunderstood. Here are the steps to help you make more putts:
1. Read the putt. Hopefully you are good are seeing the breaks and tendencies of which way a ball will roll.
2. Pick out a spot 1-3 feet in front of your ball ALONG THE LINE you want to roll the putt on.
3. Aim the putterface AT THAT SPOT along the line you chose.
4. Now that you are aligned properly, it's all about FEEL. Go ahead and roll the putt.
Distance control takes over at that point. You MUST learn how to control the roll of the ball so you can stop it close to the hole if missed. Let this video sink in and then go practice lining up better on breaking putts. I bet you make more of them!!!
